Prestige Junk Removal provides professional spa, hot tub, and jacuzzi removal throughout Los Angeles. Old hot tubs are heavy, bulky, and nearly impossible to move on your own — most weigh between 500 and 1,000 pounds. Our crew handles the full process: disconnection, disassembly, removal from your backyard, and responsible disposal. We reclaim your outdoor space without you having to lift a finger.

HOW SPA AND JACUZZI REMOVAL WORKS
ASSESSMENT
Contact Prestige Junk Removal for a free estimate. We assess the hot tub's size, location, and access path. Important factors include whether the spa is above-ground or in-ground, the path from the backyard to the truck (gate width, side yards, stairs), and whether it needs to be disconnected from electrical and plumbing.
DISCONNECTION AND DISASSEMBLY
Our crew safely disconnects the spa from power and plumbing (if still connected). We then disassemble the unit into manageable pieces using saws and cutting tools. Most hot tubs are broken down on-site — they're too large and heavy to move in one piece through standard backyard access.
REMOVAL AND HAULING
Once disassembled, we carry all pieces out of your backyard and load them onto our truck. We clean up the area where the spa sat, removing any debris left behind. The materials are taken to licensed disposal and recycling facilities.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR SPA REMOVAL
Electrical disconnection:
If your hot tub is still wired to a dedicated electrical circuit, we take care of the disconnection process. If the power is already off and disconnected, our just handle the rest. Let us know the status when you request your estimate.

Access path:
Our crew needs a path from the hot tub to our truck. Standard side gates (36 inches or wider) work fine — we disassemble the spa into pieces that fit. If access is extremely limited (no gate, walled-in yard, second-story deck), let us know so we can plan accordingly.
Draining:
The hot tub should be drained before removal day. If it still has water, we can drain it on-site, but this adds time to the job.
The pad stays:
Prestige removes the hot tub itself and any accessories. The concrete or paver pad underneath is not included in standard removal. If you also need the pad removed, let us know — we can discuss options.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How much does hot tub removal cost in Los Angeles?
Hot tub removal pricing from Prestige Junk Removal varies based on the spa's size, weight, and accessibility, it usually runs from $450 to $650, or more on special situations. Contact us with a photo of your hot tub and the access path for a free, no-obligation estimate. Every price includes disassembly, removal, hauling, and disposal.

Do you disassemble the hot tub or remove it whole?
In most cases, Prestige disassembles the hot tub on-site. Most spas are too large and heavy (500 to 1,000+ pounds) to move in one piece through standard backyard access. Our crew uses professional cutting tools to break the spa into manageable sections for removal.

Do I need to drain the hot tub before you arrive?
We recommend draining the hot tub before removal day to save time. If it still has water, our crew can drain it on-site, but this may add time to the job.

Can you remove a hot tub from a deck or elevated area?
Yes. Prestige Junk Removal has experience removing hot tubs from decks, patios, rooftops, and elevated areas. These situations require additional planning — let us know about your setup when requesting an estimate.

Do you remove the concrete pad under the hot tub?
Standard spa removal includes the hot tub, cover, steps, and accessories. The concrete or paver pad underneath is not included in standard removal. If you need the pad removed, let us know and we can discuss options.

How long does hot tub removal take?
Most hot tub removals take one to two hours, including disassembly, removal, and cleanup. Larger spas or difficult access situations may take longer.
